Principal's Welcome

Blacktown Sinhala School (BSS) promotes Sri Lankan culture to enrich the values in Sri Lankans in Sydney/NSW over 25 years. We are one of the most prominent language schools in Sydney/NSW. We believe multicultural diversity in Australian society can enhance the quality of life.

Therefore, teaching the Sri Lankan culture to our younger generation is a necessity to preserve that quality. Since Sri Lanka has more than 2500 years old culture, the teaching of that needs well-organized processes. Our school has strong human resources consisted of well-educated teachers and parents to support this mission. Our vision is to build and preserve good values in our future generation based on both Australian and Sri Lankan cultures. We welcome all to take part in this journey.
