Welcome to Our School
Welcome to our school!
At Blacktown Sinhala School, we actively build our children’s character by nurturing our Sri Lankan culture via Sinhala language education.
As the leading community language school in Sydney for teaching Sinhala language, we have nearly 30 years of history and a well-reputed teaching panel with many years of experience. They help our children connect with Sri Lankan culture and prepare them to build their own identity within the culturally diverse community of Australia. Moreover, the community and cultural belonging we inculcate here are unprecedented to any other.
The year 2023 is going to be a special year for our children. We are in the process of reforming our educational program according to the latest community language framework provided by the NSW Education Standard Authority (NESA). We will introduce advanced digital learning platforms such as Seesaw and many other digital tools and content to facilitate Sinhala education in our school.
We welcome you to visit Blacktown Sinhala school and see first-hand the fine young men and women who attend the school.

Blacktown Sinhala School Opening Day 2023...!
Students, Parents, Teachers, Old boys, and Girls joined the colorful opening day on 5th February. Priorities were given to Traditional customs and welcome speeches from distinguished guests.
Thanks a lot to Kushan Jayarathne - President SCF, Rohana Withanage - VP Education SCF, and Pradeep Ranasinghe who represented the SCF.
We BSS were delighted to see our students starting school again.
